Sisters Only - Race Requirements

 

Pre-Race Duties

Every sister must complete 1 pre-race duty before Saturday, October 24 (race day). Please register for a pre-race duty here. There should be a sign-up sheet at the house before your pre-race duty - if you're not sure we know you were there, please send an e-mail to kcyoung@gatech.edu.

Race Day Duties

Because the race extends from 7:30-11:30ish, not every sister will need to be there for the entire time. Please sign up on GIN for which race shift you would like to work. If you are running in the Race, you are not required to work a shift, but you must sign up as a runner here. If you will not be at the Race and you notify crsb_excuses@hotmail.com by Wednesday, October 15, you will be given the opportunity to substitute another activity without being fined for missing the Race.

Fundraising

Because the Race is an event that our chapter as a whole puts on, we want every sister to be involved in its planning and success! This year, each sister will be responsible for $20 worth of fundraising credit. This can be done in a number of ways:

• Get 2 runners to sign up for the Race in your name (easy - if you're speaking at a Greek house, put your name on the back of the fliers and ask them to sign up in your name!)
• Ask a store, family member, or business to sponsor the Race (this is easier than you think - businesses are always looking for ways to get involved in the community)
• Donate the money yourself (this would also count as monetary Philanthropy hours!)
